The office of the Lackawanna County clerk of judicial records, civil division, has moved to a temporary site due to a sewer back-up in the Brooks Building. The office has relocated to the Lackawanna County Administration Building, first floor, 200 Adams Ave., according to Mauri B. Kelly, clerk of judicial records.
Lackawanna County notaries who need to register their signatures cannot complete this task at the temporary site. The book used to register signatures remains in Brooks Building.
However, if you have proof that you were sworn in (taken the oath of office), you may notarize and then register your signature as soon as the Brooks Building re-opens.
