Notary fees are the fees you are permitted to charge for each type of notarial act. You may choose to charge fees or provide your services for free, but you are NOT permitted to charge more than the set fee for a particular notarial act.
Each additional name $2
Administering oaths $5
Taking depositions, per page $3
If you charge notary fees, you are required to display a schedule of your fees where your customers can easily see them. You can also provide them with a printed list of your fees. If you do not charge fees, you are not required to post them.
Post notary fees charged in your register. If you did not charge a fee, write N/C for “no charge” in your register in the Notary Fee Paid space.
You may charge clerical and travel fees, as long as they are reasonable and agreed to by the customer beforehand. Do not record these fees in your register.
