State Representative Glen R. Grell of the 87th Legislative District introduced legislation to update and improve Pennsylvania laws on notarization, acknowledgments and unsworn foreign declarations.
The offices of the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries (PAN) will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, due to scheduled Light-Up Night street closures in downtown Pittsburgh.
We will reopen with regular business hours (9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) on Monday, Nov. 21.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that all driver license and photo centers, including its full-service center in Harrisburg, will be closed Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.
In the chart, “Pennsylvania County Fees,” on page 13 of the November-December 2011 issue of Notary Notes, we inadvertently left out the information for McKean County.
