The Pennsylvania Association of Notaries is now offering one Continuing Legal Education or CLE credit for attorneys taking our PANcourse Online.
PANcourse Online is state-approved and fulfills the mandatory education requirement for first time and reappointing notaries. A personal computer, online connection and time to devote to the material are all that is necessary.
The course covers notarial conduct and responsibilities, how to identify your customers, powers of a Pennsylvania notary, the difference between affidavits and acknowledgments, complex documents and a brief look at electronic notarization.
PAN became an accredited CLE provider in 2001 after undergoing an application process in which the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board determined that PAN’s seminars are of related importance to attorneys.
In addition to the online course, PAN also offers First Time Notary, Everyday Notary Challenges and Notary Reappointment live seminars. Each of these seminars is worth three CLE credits.
Attorneys wishing to earn one CLE credit through the PANcourse Online must add $5 to the $99 cost of the course.
