The Pennsylvania Association of Notaries (PAN) will offer its Motor Vehicle Advanced seminar in Allentown on November 18.

The course is the required biennial training for motor vehicle agents and their employees who have taken PAN’s Motor Vehicle Basic training or already have 1 or more years experience in handling motor vehicle papwork in Pennsylvania.

The advanced course is 6 hours of intense instruction designed for experienced agents to review standard Department of Motor Vehicle policies and procedures and update agent services of new procedures, which includes re-issuing temporary registrations, requirements under privacy of information laws, Pennsylvania’s Electronic Lien and Title Program (ELT), and resources available through the Department of Transportation Web site.

The seminar will be held on Nov. 18, 2010, at the Comfort Suites Downey Park, Allentown, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $95. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.

Pre-registration is required. Walk-ins are not accepted.
