Extra PAN Motor Vehicle Education Added to Schedule
In response to our members’ requests for extra motor vehicle education, the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries (PAN) has added five MVcourse Advanced seminars to its schedule in May and June.
Pittston – May 13 – Holiday Inn Express, 30 Concorde Drive, Avoca
Lancaster – May 13 – Holiday Inn Express, 24 South Willowdale Drive
Erie – May 20 – Holiday Inn Express, 1-90, Exit 24, 81011 Peach Street
Indiana – June 17 – Hampton Inn, 1275 Indian Springs Road
Fort Washington – June 17 – Fort Washington Hotel and Conference Center, 432 Pennsylvania Avenue
Registration for the seminars begin at 8:30; class runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
PAN’s MVcourse Advanced is the required bi-annual training for returning motor vehicle agents and their employees who have previously taken the basic training or have 1 or more years of motor vehicle paper work experience in Pennsylvania. The advanced course reviews standard Department of Motor Vehicle policies and procedures, such as re-issuing of temporary registrations, rew requirements under privacy of information laws, and Pennsylvania’s Electronic Lien and Title Program (ELT). Other topics include resources which are now available through the Department of Transportation’s Web site.
Cost of the seminar is $95.
Pre-registration is required; walk-ins not accepted.
