Jim Damp, who brought his considerable writing talent and sense of humor to our Communications Department nearly four years ago, died suddenly on Aug. 14, 2009, at the age of 50.
In addition to his work for PAN and USNA, Jim was also head coach of the Fox Chapel Area High School hockey team and the Allegheny Badgers amateur hockey team.
Jim is survived by his wife Beth, son Patrick, daughter Sarah, parents Helen and James R. Sr., two brothers and a sister.
