Marc L. Aronson, president of the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries (PAN) and the United States Notary Association (USNA) has been elected to serve a two-year term on the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA) board of directors.
PRIA represents a partnership of business and government members within the property records industry. The association’s goal is to research, develop, create and implement national standards, systems and procedures for the industry. It is a membership-driven organization with a board of directors elected by its members.
Aronson has been a member of PRIA for 10 years. He has served as membership, marketing, conference and editorial co-chairs and has been involved in the review and rewriting of PRIA’s bylaws. Aronson was also instrumental in the revision of the association’s Web site.
As an expert on the functions of the notary public, Aronson has contributed his expertise on a national scale to notary appointing authorities, including the National Association of Secretaries of State, the Notary Public Administrators Association, the Mortgage Bankers Association, the American Escrow Association, the Pennsylvania Land Title Association and the Pennsylvania Recorder of Deeds Association, among others.
PAN and USNA are headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pa.
